when deeply practicing prajna-paramita,# a* B! B8 Y+ x
clearly saw that the five skandhas are all empty,
2 y5 {4 Y8 M4 r+ land was saved from all suffering and distress.& ?0 g5 X8 W2 d$ s' Z
观自在菩萨4 U0 F3 Z% Y0 l, a) d5 O3 `* \
行深般若波罗蜜多时3 m$ p  O9 s9 M9 o
照见五蕴皆空度一切苦厄
, C( E' g0 o+ i  R# i5 a2 lSariputra,
/ g9 m) U, G. b  L) k3 y0 U' {& Uform is no different to emptiness,
. A/ X, f) j! B* z( H$ C8 c# ^9 b: remptiness no different to form.
: p' V/ M$ f$ g7 A! F! w/ R# cThat which is form is emptiness,
. \3 @+ H: P8 ^$ @% Qthat which is emptiness, form.$ B2 |3 r: ]4 ?$ U* t( N9 T
舍利子4 q/ j( o4 _) [' Q. S
色不异空空不异色. q. k+ J7 G+ F& ?+ z" o' @
色即是空空即是色& r+ k; t/ D# [
Sensations, perceptions, impressions, and consciousness are also like this.
; s# ^( G# a3 c; }受想行识亦复如是5 l! v. A2 o  ?% s
Sariputra,
0 [# }& E! _: `2 {2 Q1 X& Gall things and phenomena are marked by emptiness;% }, f2 a* ]5 N6 G+ S, Z% v5 o3 A
they are neither appearing nor disappearing,; J5 o  Z$ ?: K$ y
neither impure nor pure,
+ |: `  @' U& g6 w0 O, Tneither increasing nor decreasing.! G0 q# O* B( Q. {0 B8 C' X9 K
舍利子
3 d( l( z& ^. ?9 J是诸法空相不生不灭( i# Z9 k2 c4 H) D. P1 O
不垢不净不增不减
% q+ {3 V7 B6 Y* z$ K- C/ Y, yTherefore, in emptiness,
- X' A* z) }9 J; f; mno forms, no sensations, perceptions, impressions, or consciousness;/ h8 s( i. X- l$ X9 N9 L
no eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, mind;
+ B, U( B3 q8 F  c是故空中无色无受想行识8 \3 S' T$ k: r
无眼耳鼻舌身意- S) N4 K& p1 z* H) i, K* }
no sights, sounds, odors, tastes, objects of touch, objects of mind;
' Y, G& L' `7 g6 b2 `* fno realm of sight up to no realm of consciousness;) h& i, x' R1 e. X" k5 @5 A0 f( d, i, c8 v
无色声香味触法
* R; \1 j0 f  F$ h& g; K无眼界乃至无意识界; l9 X9 w: L! o9 z2 q! D
no ignorance and no end of ignorance,
  S- {0 q0 A) P- W/ V1 n0 o  m, zand no end of aging and death;; L$ F3 B' c9 D# ]8 i2 X1 `
无无明亦无无明尽" E$ F: B0 G9 M- L. b9 }( b
乃至无老死亦无老死尽
3 y: Z2 z/ N* Y- lno suffering, accumulation, cessation, or path;# J, h0 `" H( ^3 o: s/ q2 Y' W
no wisdom and no attainment.! g8 C: \/ m- f: N9 E3 z, W
无苦集灭道无智亦无得% O: C8 {- ^9 s; ~2 ^
With nothing to attain,
% \) L; L1 v/ N8 O& P  Rbodhisattvas+ H! o. [. I% S
rely on prajna-paramita,
/ Q$ J2 x# b) F+ Vand their minds are without hindrance.
3 ~& n/ c; S4 z: L$ e以无所得故
1 u7 a# a& W# c/ q/ I& X: K菩提萨陲依般若波罗蜜多故. ]6 X$ g: x& j/ b
They are without hindrance,
3 E* r) ~5 }! O0 h: ~and thus without fear.
9 n& z" @$ T1 i4 c心无碍无碍故无有恐怖
3 U4 \5 V8 J1 b8 S1 i2 S% I7 VFar apart from all confused dreams,
) _7 p  N/ r. ]( hthey dwell in nirvana.
$ v, D' D: b! e  r# z远离颠倒梦想究竟涅盘
* w' U2 `: ]5 ], R0 aAll buddhas of the past, present and future
* C! C3 z" m  M$ E- n0 C$ Erely on prajna-paramita,  K, W# }1 \$ s
and attain anuttara-samyak-sambodhi.
/ w% N) k- [0 k5 K. w三世诸佛依般若波罗蜜多故
4 u  ^/ r7 v! l/ Q, @得阿耨多罗三藐三菩提
$ N7 c1 H& `$ |1 L+ c0 O0 {Therefore, know that prajna-paramita3 a+ s" C4 e: m% X4 |/ u" h3 O
is the great transcendent mantra,& G( @& i2 B" o9 J# I; }
the great bright mantra,
, @8 |" m/ R( s: N% D1 ?1 \. }( Pthe supreme mantra,- t) @) b9 U1 P5 ]/ m2 G  R! \
the unequalled balanced mantra,) p" v) F* E% v* u3 d1 d; b
that can eliminate all suffering,
* V. ^: u/ k+ _+ t0 u& H, U' sand is real, not false.: a& R1 W! m( f& ^
故知般若波罗蜜多
5 n9 h8 s2 S; d  u+ ^  X: I是大神咒是大明咒是无上咒
2 ^. T! E" a& u7 Q) [$ F/ ?- D是无等等咒能除一切苦真实不虚0 ^% O% D2 f( @9 o+ P* l6 Q
So proclaim the prajna-paramita mantra,# N7 G9 U4 {) l2 g* p3 |, ?% H
proclaim the mantra that says:
/ [$ p5 {. C; ]2 w, T故说般若波罗蜜多咒* l/ F( x/ z! w7 J- K
即说咒曰' n: m! |5 i+ j+ f9 T9 O, O
gate, gate,) p, p3 T9 Q9 p- R# s' }
paragate,
$ k% D' F7 G% ^  s$ b( Iparasamgate,( U* ~; U9 ~7 z3 I, h9 {  Q
bodhi, svaha!
$ F1 ~0 O( ]3 y# i揭谛揭谛波罗揭谛
( j4 z7 F+ _( s7 O: A& Y波罗僧揭谛菩提娑婆诃$ z) e2 `) \7 t2 J3 c
