To the rosy clouds in the western sky.

Are young brides in the setting sun;

Always linger in the depth of my heart.
9 P- u% c/ q* x3 D' i5 O/ Z) q% ]The floating heart growing in the sludge
; ~7 h8 R: X1 O' [% ]Sways leisurely under the water;
6 Q6 r& U: R1 u, V0 q/ ZIn the gentle waves of Cambridge
6 z3 C6 Z! r$ \8 z& gI would be a water plant!
+ d7 x( B, h6 Q( g. @That pool under the shade of elm trees
/ V6 J) q+ s6 W7 @ l9 U" ^2 [Holds not water but the rainbow from the sky;

Is the sediment of a rainbow-like dream?
; C9 \! G+ ]3 d) Y# O# ^To seek a dream? Just to pole a boat upstream

Or to have the boat fully loaded with starlight ' h! x: I; P0 l7 ~& o" Z
And sing aloud in the splendour of starlight.

Even summer insects heep silence for me

但我不能放歌,
/ t* q# s M/ A悄悄是别离的笙箫;
